  • eBay built by sellers and destroyed by a cretin CEO

  • They are taking the mikey out of sellers!

  • I just love the way they are saving us money! Just don’t sell any items and you will save bundles of cash!

  • go to nedthetoothpick.com for planning and discussion

  • There are already a lot of sellers’ discussions going on right now regarding this at nedthetoothpick.com! Come join our discussions!

  • Count me in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ebay is insane and greedy.

  • I tried earlier to get in and see what was going on there but I had to get dinner on the table for the family. I have posted this boycott at the point on the message boards at Ebay. I’ll try to check back again here soon and thanks for the update….Meredith

  • Look at insider trading as well here is a link that might help with some reseach http://finance.yahoo.com/q/it?s=EBAY
I have noticed that there were significant sales inside the company a month prior to a $10 per share decline in price not sure if that counts as insider trading however coupled with this news now could be something to look into

  • its disgusting the way ebay are treating there sellers , 1, dont list, 2, hit them with emails polite, but complain to the new rules, 3,check out other sites seriously consider joining !

  • I had posted a thread on the ebay Soapbox forum last night, and it’s gone this morning, I think ebay pulled it. that is just wrong!

  • I am ready to take a stand with my ebay friends.Let the boycott begin! Put your head out the window and SHOUT “Thats all I can stand and I wont take it any more!!!” Richie

  • I am disgusted and have just opened an account at InetBid.com and will also consider looking at other sites. Of course, I have also sold a few items locally on Craigslist.com. I do believe I will be jumping the eBay ship.

  • I agree with Lydia…If they proceed with these new policies they might as well start advertising “OUT OF BUSINESS.” If they start loosing there sellers they start loosing the buyers and that alone speaks for itself.

  • Hi everyone and I know just exactly how you feel. I have been checking out all the other online auction sites and believe that if everyone who is disgusted with Greedbay were to take their business to another site, who knows how fast that new auction site could grow? I like the following auction sites so far: 1)www.epier.com: 2)www.Inetbid.com: 3)www.satisfaction.com. Check other online sites out and post your opinions of what is out there. And….I do believe you are right….Greedbay is concerned about the word BOYCOTT and www.thepoint.com…as well they should be….after all….Donohoe called us a lot of noise!

  • Well if they are going to pull comments, why don’t craft a collective letter that we can all send to everyone on our email contacts and ask them to forward to everyone on their email contacts? They can’t pull those?

  • I think tazbar is the one the most defectors are heading for, could prove to be the best option if the majority of sellers/buyers are there?

  • hello guys,i just got off the phone with a power seller friend of mine,he has had an ebay store for several years now containing several thousand items,he called ebay using the phone number reserved for power sellers and explained to them that his store generates a few thousand dollars per month in revenue and to express his concern about the new policy’s,well he phoned me back and said that they basicly did not care he went on to say that he is closing his store he isnt going to have his great feedback ruined he said he is in a beef with a customer right now who is threatening him with a negative

  • tazbar is in the UK, InetBid.com is in New York.
