A great idea and lets get as much support as possible! I have spent the past two years having to look out over wasteland and its about time we did something about this. It simple drags down the area as is it now and does not help Burslem what so ever.

Bournes Bank is a large wasteground on the edge of Burslem, formerly the site of factories and cinemas.
At the moment it attracts anti-social behaviour and crime and is an eyesore for the people who live and work overlooking it. It is visible to thousands of motorists and brings down the impression of our town.
We would like to plant a wildflower meadow.
The meadow would still be fenced off and the community appreciates that eventually the land will be developed with the removal of the meadow. However, its presence in the meantime would lift the value of the land and the town, providing an attractive view with the three bottle ovens at the bottom. I have sent an invite to all my local email addresses today and also added the campaign widget to my blog which is linked to my website. The blog also has a little bit about why I want to join this campaign after watching B Arts’ Place, Space and Identity performance on Bournes Bank. There is a link to some amazing photos of the event on there too if anyone’s interested. http://rachelreynoldsgrant.blogspot.com/
