THE PITCH

If one person were to short pay an invoice that they received from AT&T, their account would be put on hold or frozen and the phone company would just come after them for the amount they short paid. But if 100,000 all take a $5 or $10 credit to every monthly phone bill, all at the same time, AT&T would be powerless. They wouldn’t want to lose 100,000 customers at one time and so they would be forced to honor the rightful credit that its customers are taking for minutes that they were charged for but were unable to use based on AT&T’s poor coverage.
