Friends of IDF, an international organization supporting the Israel Defense Forces, developed the IMPACT! scholarship program to benefit disadvantaged Israeli Defense Forces soldiers who have completed their service.
From the FIDF Web site: “The recipients are chosen by an international Grant Committee, composed of highly regarded representatives from the IDF, Israeli universities, along with Israeli and American business leaders. The main objective of the Grant Committee is to select the most deserving soldiers based both on service merit and on need.”
When you commit a donation to this tipping action, your credit card will be billed when the tipping action reaches $16,000. When this happens, a single check for $15,000 will be delivered to the chairmen of Friends of IDF. They in turn will distribute the funds to a selected soldier for his or her four-year education. FIDF monitors the progress of these students.
When this tipping action completes, we will start it over to fund another soldier’s education.
Anonymous contributions are welcome.
Interested donors can read more about the program, or make a direct donation, at:

(This campaign was not created by Friends of IDF. However, all funds will be contributed to their committee to dispose of according to their direction.)
