THE PITCH

Slaves: people who are controlled by violence and the threat of violence, forced to work for no pay, economically exploited, and cannot walk away.
-
There are 27 million slaves in the world today.
-
Slavery is the second most lucrative criminal industry in the world.
-
If nobody knows what’s happening, it will never end. Let’s tell the world!
-
If 1000 people walk about five miles (5.11 miles), that will be a total of 27 million feet.
-
That’s 27 million feet for 27 million slaves.

The dates have been narrowed down to either April 10 or April 17. The walk will be at 2pm, and a candle light vigil will be held that night.
