  • Edurelief is a nonprofit organization that works to impact the lives and futures of Mongolian children and communities through education programs. To date, Edurelief programs have reached over 4,000 children from rural community schools across Mongolia.

Many of the areas Edurelief works in are rural communities that are impossible to find on a map do to their size and distance from larger towns or cities. It is difficult then for Edurelief to communicate where their donors and volunteers have helped make an impact.

Edurelief has agreed to visually document their future projects on their website via a combination of photos, GPS, and Google Earth/Maps if we can raise the $200 they need to purchase a GPS unit they can use in Mongolia. Each time Edurelief establishes a new program or school library, staff members will update the impact map at http://www.edurelief.org for donors and volunteers to see the extent of their work. Edurelief will also reference updates to the map via their email newsletter which will be available from their website.

Checkout http://www.edurelief.org for more info on the organization and their programs.

Documenting projects is extremely important not only for organizations to be able to communicate what they are doing but also to show donors and volunteers that their work really is having an impact.

Let’s help Edurelief document the impact they are having in Mongolia.
